Objects of the Settlement

•To maintain and run a centre to provide social welfare services following Christian principles.
• To be aware of new challenges in the community and to devise and carry into effect new approaches to meet these challenges.
• To provide training facilities for social work students and social service workers.

Mission

St. James Settlement is a multi social service agency which provides high quality comprehensive services to meet the diverse needs of our society, to enable the individuals to help themselves and to help others, and to build an integrated and harmonious community.

We will strive to continuously improve our services to become a center of excellence and pioneer in social service in order to respond appropriately and timely to the changing needs of our society and to meet and exceed the needs of our service recipients.

We will closely monitor social service development outside Hong Kong to enable mutual learning and to explore opportunities for joint venture.
