St. James' Cup Charity Golf Tournament 2008

St.
James' Cup Charity Golf Tournament 2008, co-organized by Hong
Kong Golf Association (HKGA) was held on Wednesday, 2 July 2008
at the Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course - East Course.
This year is the fifth anniversary of St. James’ Cup Charity
Golf Tournament All proceeds of St. James' Cup will be used
to support the 2 charity projects namely People's Food Bank
and Grant-in-aid Brighten's Children's Lives.
Regardless of all the efforts of current and past co-chairs,
we were overwhelmed by the success of this ear’s event.
Over HK$760,000 net cash donation was raised for the mentioned
charity projects which thanks to the 104 players and 33 corporate
partners took part. It breaks the donation record among all.

Christmas Food Tree 2007 (17-21/12/2007)
We are glad to jointly organize Christmas Food Tree Program with IBM China/ Hong Kong Limited. This is our 4th collaboration this year since 2004. Starting from December 2007, we have 50 corporate partners/units to join this meaningful event. Till to late January, People's Food Bank raised HK$161,000, 352 kg of rice, 953 packs of noodles, 5,665 tins of canned food, $700 supermarket coupon and over 1,250 kg of drinks and other kinds of food. Since some of the participants are still raising donation from their colleagues as well as their corporate partners, we believe the result should be much better than that of the last year.

Every Valentine's Day, St. James' Settlement tailors the heartwarming Valentine's product for you to express your sincerity to your beloved. This year,"8,000"pieces of Valentine's Feather Rose have been selected for you!
"Valentine's Feather Rose Charity Sale 2008" will be launched at more than 15 different locations in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon & New Territories including shopping malls, hotels and MTR stations in Lunar New Year and St. Valentine's Day. Each of the "Feather Rose" comes with a gift box and a Valentine's Card. The charitable price is $48All proceeds, after deducting the administration costs, will be used for supporting the charity projects of St. James' Settlement including purchasing stationery for deprived children, electric appliances for elderly and food for hungers etc.
Ways of supporting:

• Retail stores promote the "Feather Rose" to customers!
